The research of the Astronomer Royal for Scotland, Piazzi Smyth,
in the 1870's was remarkable in its time and not much improvement in the
ancient astronomy related to the Giza complex in Egypt has been achieved since then.
A lot of the research of this famous and respected man was
discredited by science in general because they felt that his work was biased by
his drive to prove the Bible true.
Piazzi Smyth had in his keeping a great treasure unearthed from
the Great Pyramid of Khufu by a man
called Waynman Dixon.
The problem was that neither Piazzi Smyth or Waynman Dixon
recognized the treasure for what it really was, nor did the world and still does
not to this day.
It lay in pieces in the British Museum for over a century until
it was brought to public attention again.
The reader may judge after reading this work that if these19th
Century explorers, investigators and astronomers had fully understood the implications then many of the mysteries
posed by Archeaoastronomers on other prehistoric sites around the world would
already be answered and much of the mystery attached to them dispelled.
These pages will attempt to correct that mistake for the sake of
the serious seeker.
There is not a surveyor alive who can look at the following
construction difficulties taken from the illustrations of Piazzi Smyth and not
recognise the requirements for an instrument or instruments that can measure
inclines, areas, volumes and levels.

The Giza Complex
Egypt 2170 BC |
|
The Giza Complex of pyramids are located on the side of the Nile.
They are located on contour lines and the Northern one known as the Pyramid of Cheops(Khufu) is built on a mound of bedrock.
The alignment of the three pyramids is oriented toward the North east in the direction of the solstices.
I will not go into detail of weights and volumes, it is sufficient to say that we are incapable even today of replicating their accuracy of construction and design.
Notice that even the effects of light were taken care of and only on those faces of the pyramids that caught the sun(The source of Life), the north face was left flat since the sun never touched it.

The Geometry involved |
|
The enormity of the geometry involved beggars belief.
The volumes, areas, inclines, internal chambers and shafts.
The physics of engineering the mass and its displacement is unimaginable.
But we are interested here in how it was designed, since no construction commences without the surveying for the architect.
To believe anything different is foolish and lacks insight.
We must find the inclinometer that allowed the angles to be determined. |

The angles of the shafts |
|
Here we see the angles of the shafts and the internal chambers as well as the allowances made for the water table.
But what is most important to us is the connection with astronomy because of obvious alignments to the constellations and the ecliptic.
To align the pyramid with a tiny error of 3 arc minutes required an instrument that could determine the location of the celestial pole with considerable accuracy.
Morerover, modern computer generated astronomy programs show that in when the pyramid was built in 2170 BC the entrance shaft was indeed aligned to Alpha Draconis once every 24 hours.
The ancient pole star of Alpha Draconis (Thuban) was not a pole star in 2170BC and had not been since 2800BC.
But to align the entrance shaft so that Thuban could appear at the entrance shaft once every day required sophisticated astronomy and an instrument that could make spherical measurements of the stars.
What was that instrument?
Piazzi Smyth held it in his hands in 1872 and yet did not know what it was.

The instrument that designed the pyramid could possibly turn out to be the same
instrument that allowed the Pharaohs Ba (Soul) to navigate it's way to Heaven
past the horrible monster that eats the dead who's past lives had lacked the
Truth and Justice of Ma-at at the final judgement in the Weighing of the Heart
Ceremony.
The pyramid artefacts that explains how the Great Pyramid of Cheops could
have been designed and aligned with the stars, are
