The Book
The Golden Thread of Time
The Wheel Cross
allows the navigation of the planet without a
time piece, the discovery of Natures mathematics and the construction of ancient
sacred buildings using astrology. The philosophy behind all the
great religions rest within what the cross reveals.

The ancient scientific and spiritual wisdom that has
shaped our past and still influences our future is part of a forgotten and often
hidden system
that reaches back beyond the current established religions, further than Ancient
Egypt into an age where Mankind lived in
harmony with Nature.
The work explains how a Star Cult was born of necessity, leading to
the concepts of a Sun God in Heaven that still exists in fragmented form today.
How did a scientific and spiritual instrument from the stone age become hidden
and lost in our full view?

A hand held Celtic Working Cross |
|
Weighted so that the bottom of the wheel always points to the earths centre, the observer can always measure any angle, from the slope of a hill to the declination of a star.
In this case, the observer is measuring the angle of the rising sun whose angle of ascent can be read directly through the viewing hole in the cross arm.
To measure the angles of the topography is just as simple.
So is sighting along the cross arm and directly reading latitude from a pole star.
Turning the cross on its side allows the observer to triangulate any observation mark.
It is truly a wonderful and unique spherical measuring instrument.
It should be, for it created the Zodiacs and was the instrument of the Wise |

A full sized working cross |
|
This is the author measuring the angle of the sun with full size working version of the Celtic cross at a Neolithic standing stone near Kilmartin in the West of Scotland.
This cross will find latitude to a distance of 12 miles using the sun or at night, the pole star.
Not far from this site is the giant Neolithic serpent mound which represents the method of keeping time with the stars.
There is another Serpent mound across the Atlantic Ocean in Ohio, America.
Both mounds were built by Neolithic people who navigated by the stars.
later, in this website, I will discuss the nature of the Serpent and its great significance to our ancestors.
The Serpent was not considered the Symbol of Wisdom for nothing. |

The engineering principles of a working cross depend on
gravity and spherical geometry so as to function.

These principles of the ancient ,mariners quadrant above are a simple plumb line and a measuring scale,
yet it is a poor and limited substitute for the earlier cross.
Now that you have seen the working cross, You may wish to study
the academic mathematical principles of Navigation, if so go to
Modern
navigation
and its relationship to prehistoric navigation
